First of all, I am absolutely delighted to have been nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award by Savy Geekmom https://thesavvygeekmom.wordpress.com Kat has an absolutely wonderful blog about a Mom who has faced many challenges she is a Military Mom who’s family has been affected by mental health and autism. I think this is so important as one in 4 people are affected by mental health in some way. Kat is such an inspiration she is a author, public speaker and coach I highly recommend her blog if you want to be moved and inspired, she writes straight from the heart, grab a box of tissue.
Technically this isn’t an official “award” per say, but it is an award in terms of spreading good cheer and passing on great bloggers who have inspired you, made you laugh, or simply touched a part of your life. That said, I think this is a great idea to spread the cheer and discover other great blogs and talented bloggers. Thus, I feel The Sunshine Blogger Award is a circle of happiness in an ocean of clutter, and because I truly enjoy blogging and reading blogs, I find this inspiring and rather worthy of resharing.
So here are the “rules” to the Sunshine Blogger Award.
* Thank the person(s) who nominated you in a blog post and link back to their blog.
* Answer the 11 questions sent by the person who nominated you.
* Nominate 11 new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.
* List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award logo on your post and/or on your blog.
My Blog is a creative space for me to develop my love of writing, to share some personal stories, to encourage others to follow their dreams and goals. It is also a launching pad and learning tool for me…. more to come about that in the future so stay tuned…. Top Secret …
I am an extremely determined and passionate person, when I set a goal I go after it and I dont just chase it, I hunt it down and conquer it.
I don’t think I have one happiest moment but I have a few. The moment I first held my beautiful babies is a moment I will never forget. I also felt so much happiness at my wedding in 2007, I was overcome and moved by tears of joy as for the first time in my life , I felt completely and unconditionally loved. The moment I first held my grandson and granddaughter are also the most tender moments I have ever felt. So as you can see, I have many wonderful moments and these are just a few.
Rosie the Riveter, I can relate to Rosie as she represents the working woman thriving in a “mans world” I have been working in a male dominated industry for years and can appreciate the struggle to not just survive but thrive. I also might be a bit sweet on her name 🙂
Josh Groban ” You Raise Me Up” really inspires me to do better and be better. It is such a beautiful song and Josh is so amazing when he sings it. Whenever I hear this song I have to tune out to everything else, it really takes my breath away.
Without a doubt my dear beagle “Russell” he makes me laugh, he makes me mad, but he always loves me no matter what. I cry with him, laugh with him and chase him.
I am a evening person for the most part, I love to chill at my desk, listen to music, sip tea or coffee and disappear into my world of blogging, its relaxing, creative and freeing all at the same time…. I’m such a geek 🙂
Red is my favorite color, it’s bold and exciting. I am naturally drawn to it, as I am both bold and passionate, I especially love to wear red, its my power color.
I love the smell of cinnamon because when I was a little girl my Mom was always baking and I loved coming home to smell of fresh cinnamon rolls wafting out of the house. Sometimes my mom even saved a bit of dough for me to make my own mini cinnamon rolls and she gave me a tiny baking dish, those rolls were amazing… ok I need to stop I am getting hungry now and missing my Mom.
I love writing straight from the heart but its also scary, its fun because it also challenges me.
